St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 32 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Christopher John Landry, 42, 3905 Francis Street, Berwick, LA, was arrested on May 28, 2020, at 6:07 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of monetary instrument abuse.

Landry was arrested by another agency on other charges and is incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. After his booking at the LEC, corrections deputies arrested him for the active SMPSO warrant. Bail for the warrant charge was set at $3,500.  

Samuel Anthony Morgan, 52, 525 Joey Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on May 28, 2020, at 8:28 pm for disturbing the peace-intoxicated. Morgan was released on a summons to appear on August 21, 2020.

Devontre Jones, 25, 403 Robertson Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 29, 2020, at 2:45 am for possession of marijuana and driving on right side of road/exceptions. Jones was released on a summons to appear on August 21, 2020.
