St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 35 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Willie James Hayes, 40, 710 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Patterson, LA, was arrested on June 22, 2020, at 11:45 am for violation of a protective order. Hayes was released on a $3,250 bond.

Tiffany Lynn Remedies, 30, 109 Judy Lane, Patterson, LA, was arrested on June 22, 2020, at 12:49 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of methamphetamine. No bail has been set.

Todd Wayne Romero, 45, 1602 Bethia Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 23, 2020, at 2:45 am for turning movements and signals required, driving under suspension, and on an Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office warrant for the charge of introduction of contraband into a penal facility. Romero is being held for another agency.

Jaquan Montaque Verrett, 21, 3203 Highway 87, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 23, 2020, at 3:42 am for turning movements and signals required and possession of marijuana. Verrett was released on a summons to appear on September 24, 2020.

Aaron Jackson, 53, 2442 Highway 318, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on June 23, 2020, at 12:23 am for license plate required, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and possession of alcoholic beverage in motor vehicle (open container). Jackson was released on a summons to appear on September 24, 2020.
