St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 96-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 160 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Kristopher Lee Acosta, 38, 1623 Slumber Pass, San Antonio, TX, was arrested on July 3, 2020, at 2:45 am for domestic abuse battery by strangulation. Acosta was released on a $2,500 bond.

David Wayne Mire, 44, 131 Velma Ct., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 4, 2020, at 10:56 pm for driving under suspension, driving on right side of road/exceptions, possession of methamphetamines, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. No bail has been set.

Dwayne Willem Hallman, Jr., 44, 214 Overbrook Drive, Broussard, LA, was arrested on July 4, 2020, at 12:05 pm for driving while intoxicated. Hallman was released on a $2,500 bond.

Jalesa Shaw, 31, 124 Martin Luther King, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on July 4, 2020, at 4:10 pm for possession of marijuana. Shaw was released on a summons to appear on October 22, 2020.

Antonio Lamonte Blackburn, 47, 109 Caribbean Drive, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on July 4, 2020, at 10:27 pm for domestic abuse battery. Blackburn was released on a $2,500 bond.

Lilian Dae Aleksines, 18, 1319 Federal Avenue, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 5, 2020, at 7:49 pm for possession of marijuana. Alexsines was released on a summons to appear on October 22, 2020.

Ashley Nicole Aucoin, 33, 1126 Highway 317, Centerville, LA, was arrested on July 6, 2020, at 2:02 am for domestic abuse battery and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery. Bail was set at $5,000.
