St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Jeffrey Lee Vasold, Jr. 34, 310 Second Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 8, 2020, at 4:46 pm for theft. Vasold was released on a summons to appear on October 22, 2020.

Karen Duval Ledet, 43, 39115 Tyler Balard Road, Walker, LA, was arrested on July 8, 2020, at 3:21 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of methamphetamines. Ledet was released on her own recognizance.

Jessica Paige Dinger, 32, 205 Aucoin Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 8, 2020, at 3:25 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charge of theft. Dinger was released on a summons to appear on October 22, 2020.

Lee Shawn Washington, 51, 200 Merchant Blvd., Lafayette, LA, was arrested on July 8, 2020, at 10:20 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family.  Bail was set at $16,888.04.
