St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 28 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Nikolas James Morris II, 32, 120 Oaklawn Quarters Lane, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 23, 2020, at 9:45 am for resisting an officer by giving false information and on a warrant for assault-simple. Morris was released on a $3,500 bond.

Adrian John Hixon, 37, 9024 Highway 182, Centerville, LA, was arrested on July 23, 2020, at 10:57 pm for driving under suspension. Hixon was released on a summons to appear on October 22, 2020.
