St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 18 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Jerret Charles Cortez, 31, 248 Vivian Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 29, 2020, at 8:10 am on the following charges:

• Stop signs and yield signs
• No driver's license on person
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of methamphetamines
• Resisting arrest or officer

No bail has been set.

 

Zacolby Lionel Granger, 28, 815 Martin Luther King Jr., Lafayette, LA, was arrested on July 29, 2020, at 12:23 pm for possession of marijuana, speeding in a construction zone, and driving under suspension.  Granger was released on a summons to appear on October 22, 2020.  

Christopher William Farmer, 42, 706 Main Street, Belle Chasse, LA, was arrested on July 29, 2020, at 6:43 pm on the following charges:

• possession of marijuana
• Possession of schedule III drugs (steroids)
• Possession of schedule IV drugs (two counts) (Lorazepam & Diazepam)
• Possession of legend drug without prescription

Farmer was released on a $10,000 bond.   

NARCOTICS SECTION

Donald Patrick Duhon, Jr., 35, 1499 Rev. Bayonne Street, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on July 29, 2020, at 7:54 pm on the following charges:

• Improper lane usage
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of a CDS in the presence of persons under 17
• Possession of schedule II drugs with intent to distribute (two counts) (hydrocodone & crack cocaine)
• Possession of schedule IV drug (alprazolam)

Duhon was released on a $25,000 bond.
