St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 32 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Kevin William Veneralla, 40, 621 Sheldon Lane, Riverridge, LA, was arrested on August 13, 2020, at 2:33 pm for theft. Bail was set at $50,000, and Veneralla was transported back to the agency where he was incarcerated. 

David John Hebert, 35, 401 Belle River, Pierre Part, LA, was arrested on August 13, 2020, at 4:31 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of schedule II (methamphetamines) and operating a vehicle without proper required equipment. No bail has been set.

Megan Elise Soulet, 29, 541 David Road, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on August 14, 2020, at 1:29 am for resisting arrest or officer. Bail has been set at $2,500.

Anthony John Pennison, Jr., 48, 127 Highway 663, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 14, 2020, at 3:20 am for possession of stolen things and contributing to the delinquency of a minor (3 counts). Pennison was released on a summons to appear on November 2, 2020.
