St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 112 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Juvenile Male, 15, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on August 14, 2020, at 8:40 pm for runaway juvenile. The juvenile male was released to the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Juvenile Female, 14, Patterson, LA, was arrested on August 15, 2020, at 6:59 pm for runaway juvenile. The juvenile female was released to the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Julicia Taylor, 36, 646 Gertrude Avenue, Lake Charles, LA, was arrested on August 15, 2020, at 4:39 pm for possession of marijuana and possession of schedule II drugs. Taylor was released on a $750 bond.

Tyjuandre Darrell Harris, 23, 502 Fredrick Lane 2, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on August 15, 2020, at 10:32 pm for resisting arrest or officer and disturbing the peace-intoxicated. Harris was released on a summons to appear on November 2, 2020.

Weldon Daigle, 50, 617 Ham Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 16, 2020, at 7:58 am on a warrant for the charges of criminal damage to property-simple and criminal mischief-tampering with property. Daigle was released on a summons to appear on November 2, 2020.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Kendrick Hines, 31, 2720 Kellogg Avenue, Dallas, TX, was arrested on August 14, 2020, at 6:36 pm on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule II (crack cocaine) with intent to distribute
• Possession of schedule I (MDMA)
• Transactions involving drug proceeds
• Possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Hines was also arrested on a warrant for the charge of possession of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids.  No bail has been set.

 

Quinton D. Robinson, 34, 423 9th Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 14, 2020, at 6:14 pm on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of schedule I (heroin)

Robinson was also arrested on a warrant for the charge of failure to register or notify as a sex offender.  No bail has been set.
