St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 32 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Derrick Gerod Lovely, 43, 219 Southeast Boulevard, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on August 19, 2020, at 1:30 pm for resisting arrest or officer and disturbing the peace by language. Lovely was released on a $2,750 bond.

Destiny James Landry, 45, 103 Lambert Lane, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on August 19, 2020, at 5:51 pm for domestic abuse child endangerment law. Bail was set at $7,000.

Martin Anthony Scelfo, 28, 5213 Highway 87, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 19, 2020, at 3:11 pm on a warrant for domestic abuse battery.  Scelfo was released on a $2,500 bond.
