St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Jeremy Lynn Windham, 34, 825 Highway 90 West, Patterson, LA, was arrested on September 7, 2020, at 9:33 pm on the following charges:

• Hit and run
• Reckless operation with accident
• Resisting arrest or officer
• Open container
• Disturbing the peace intoxicated

Windham was released on a $6,000 bond.

 

 

Jeanelle Conley, 44, 624 Henkle Street, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on September 8, 2020, at 10:24 pm for possession of marijuana and improper lane usage. Conley was released on a summons to appear on December 11, 2020.

 

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Cotina Walton, 38, 711 St. Michael Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on September 8, 2020, at 5:15 pm on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule IV (Xanax) with intent to distribute
• Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Transactions involving drug proceeds
• Improper display of a license plate

Walton was released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Kevin Batiste, 43, 1111 Dora Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on September 8, 2020, at 5:15 pm on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule IV (Xanax) with intent to distribute
• Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Transactions involving drug proceeds

Batiste was released on a $2,000 bond.
