St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 96 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Krystain Michael Provost, 18, 140 Boudreaux Lane, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on September 11, 2020, at 12:08 am for careless operation-speeding. Provost was released on a summons to appear on December 11, 2020.

Felicia Lanette Soto, 27, 153 Morris Road, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on September 12, 2020, at 7:07 pm on three warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule IV drugs
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Illegal use of CDS in the presence of persons under 17
• Improper child restraint
• Possession of methamphetamines
• Battery of a dating partner

 

No bail has been set.

 

 

Samuel Anthony Holmes, 28, 104 East Dale Street, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on September 14, 2020, at 1:24 am on the following charges:

• No proper equipment
• Driver must be licensed
• Possession of synthetic cannabinoids with intent to distribute
• Possession of firearm in the presence of CDS
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Holmes was also arrested on a New Iberia warrant for failure to appear on the charges of all drivers must secure driver's license, running a stop sign, and no seat belt.
