St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 32 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Robert Jeremy Ballance, 37, 5019 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on September 16, 2020, at 2:59 pm on a warrant for criminal neglect of family. No bail has been set.

 

Keriana M. Broussard, 23, 1404 Carmel Drive, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on September 16, 2020, at 4:08 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of driving under suspension and speeding. Broussard was released on a $500 bond.

 

Marielle Jonte Washington, 26, 126 Baker Road, Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 16, 2020, at 9:48 pm for disturbing the peace by language. Bail was set at $250.

 

Darren Joseph Jackson, 36, 115 Jordin Lane, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on September 17, 2020, at 4:33 am on a warrant for the charge of criminal trespass and a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of violation of a protective order. Bail was set at $1,578.

 

Juvenile Male, 16, Patterson, LA, was arrested on September 17, 2020, at 2:11 am for terrorizing. The juvenile male was arrested and released to the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
