St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 126 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Shannon Gail Wright, 30, 116 Pecan Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 2, 2020, at 11:07 am on two warrants for failure to appear and one complaint warrant on the following charges:

• Entry on or remaining in places or on land after being forbidden
• Disturbing the peace-offensive words
• Telephone harassment
• Resisting an officer
• Battery-simple
• Disturbing the peace by fighting

 No bail has been set.

 

Niechelle D. Winley, 31, 627 Egle Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 2, 2020, at 4:19 pm for driving under suspension. Winley was released on a summons to appear on January 7, 2021.

 

Robert Joseph Wells, 34, 202 Tango Lane, Church Point, LA, was arrested on October 2, 2020, at 4:28 pm for probation violation-felony. No bail has been set.

 

Kenneth Ray Levine, 55, 203 Knight Street, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on October 2, 2020, at 5:17 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of public intoxication. Levine was released on a $600 bond.

 

Gerald Tramond Sophus, 30, 1216 Samuel Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 3, 2020, at 2:05 pm for improper lane usage and driving under suspension. Sophus was released on a summons to appear on January 7, 2021.

 

Juvenile Male, 16, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 3, 2020, at 8:35 pm for domestic abuse battery. The juvenile male was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Alfred Broussard III, 54, 136 Prairie Road, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 3, 2020, at 8:35 pm for domestic abuse battery and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of failure to give required signals. No bail has been set.

 

Reginald Kendell Sims, 39, 130 St. Joseph Lane, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 4, 2020, at 11:55 am for turning movements and required signals and driving under suspension. Sims was released on a summons to appear on January 7, 2021.

 

Kentrelle Beasley, Jr., 18, 422 Joseph Street, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on October 4, 2020, at 3:32 pm on the following charges:

• Aggravated flight from officer
• Resisting arrest or officer
• Off-road vehicles-authorization of use
• Reckless operation no accident

 Beasley was released on a $4,500 bond.

 

Oscar Omed Hernandez, 29, 1910 River Road, Berwick, LA, was arrested on October 4, 2020, at 3:40 pm for stop signs and yield signs and no insurance. Hernandez was released on a summons to appear on January 7, 2021.

 

Jamarkus Anthony James, 29, 2207 Ceco Town Road, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on October 4, 2020, at 6:50 pm for off-road vehicles-authorization of use. James was released on a summons to appear on January 7, 2021.
