St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tariq Perry, 20, 905 Willow St, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 21, 2020, on the following charges:

• Improper lane usage
• Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
• Obstruction of Justice-Tampering
• Transaction involving proceeds from drug offenses
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Perry was released on a $2,500 bond.

 

Wesley Alphonse Duke, Jr., 70, 133 Lydia Lane, Charenton, LA, was arrested on October 21, 2020, on a warrant for the charge of Illegal use of a weapon or dangerous instrumentalities. Duke was released on a $1,500 bond.
