Arrest Report- November 18, 2020

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

James Glenn Pierott, Jr., 57, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on November 17, 2020, at 8:47 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while under suspension and operating a vehicle without proper equipment.

Pierott was released on a summons to appear on February 23, 2021.

 

Davontray Jacoby Johnson, 26, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 17, 2020, at 11:44 pm on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. No bail has been set.

 

Gregory Irvin Johnson, 60, Gibson, LA, was arrested on November 17, 2020, at 2:54 pm on an Assumption Parish warrant for the charge of distribution of schedule II CDS. Johnson was turned over to another agency.

 

Kendal Thompson, 41, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on November 17, 2020, at 11:59 pm on the following charges:

  • Proper equipment required on vehicles
  • Driving under suspension
  • Open container
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of schedule I drug with intent to distribute
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Illegal carrying of a weapon in the presence of a CDS

Bail has not been set.

 

Shawn Eric Michael Lathum, 34, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on November 18, 2020, at 5:18 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of hydrocodone. Lathum was released on a $1,500 bond.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

James Guerin, Jr., 43, Ricohoc, LA, was arrested on November 17, 2020, at 4:48 pm on the following charges:

  • Possession of schedule I drug with intent to distribute (methamphetamine)
  • Possession of schedule I with intent to distribute (Heroin)
  • Possession of schedule I with intent to distribute (Clonazepam)
  • Possession of schedule I drug with intent to distribute (marijuana)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Illegal carrying of a weapon in the presence of a CDS
  • Possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of a felony

 

Bail was set at $100,000.
