St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 29 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Cedric Benjamin Gant, 23, Amelia, LA, was arrested on November 18, 2020, at 3:15 pm on the following charges:

• Theft
• Driving under suspension
• No license plates
• No insurance

Bail has not been set.

 

Dale Mark Simoneaux, Jr., 30, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 18, 2020, at 9:42 am for domestic abuse child endangerment law. Simoneaux was released on a $3,500 bond.

 

Damian Joseph Landry, 33, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 18, 2020, at 8:20 pm for simple battery of the infirmed. Landry was released on a $2,500 bond.
