St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 26 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

K9 SECTION

Tamika Rochelle Jackson, 45, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 20, 2020, at 4:22 am for possession of crack cocaine and improper lane usage.

A deputy traveling on Main Street in Franklin observed a vehicle cross the fog line several times. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Jackson. A K9 deputy arrived on the scene and during the investigation, K9 Jace was deployed to conduct an open-air sniff of the vehicle. K9 Jace showed an odor response on the vehicle and subsequently, drugs were located. Jackson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Luis Cerritos, 28, Amelia, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2020, at 9:55 am for red light violation, possession of schedule II (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail has been set.

 

Aries Keal, 37, Charenton, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2020, at 5:29 pm for possession of schedule I (marijuana). Keal was released on a summons to appear on February 23, 2021.

 

Spencer Bourda, 29, Siracusa, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2020, at 5:29 pm for possession of schedule I (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and transactions involving drug proceeds. Bourda was released on a $7,500 bond.
