St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 24 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Bianca B. McDaniel, 29, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 1, 2020, at 1:57 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. McDaniel was released on a summons to appear on March 30, 2021.

 

Brett Latray Marks, 48, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on December 1, 2020, at 2:20 pm for possession of schedule I drug with intent to distribute, possession of firearm in presence of a CDS, possession of firearm-felon. Bail was set at $30,000.

 

Jasmeira Sade Jack, 21, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 2, 2020, at 1:15 am for possession of marijuana, resisting an officer or office, and entering contraband into a penal institution. Jack was also arrested on three warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Disturbing the peace- offensive words
• Simple criminal damage to property (2 counts)
• Simple assault
• Aggravated battery
• Domestic abuse battery

No bail has been set.
