St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 22 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Christopher James Howard, 38, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on January 13, 2021, at 3:53 pm for driver must be licensed and littering. Howard was released on a summons to appear on April 27, 2021.

 

Tanya Nicole Grogan, 44, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 13, 2021, at 7:18 pm on the following charges:

• Driving while intoxicated
• Expired driver's license
• Open container
• No child restraint (2 counts)

No bail has been set.

 

Marcus Theon Gray, 36, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 13, 2021, at 6:51 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of domestic abuse battery and possession of marijuana. No bail has been set.
