St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

 

Keith Dewayne Robinson, 41, Centerville, LA, was arrested on February 24, 2021, at 9:38 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while license was suspended/revoked/canceled and improper display of lights. Robinson was released on a summons to appear on May 24, 2021.

 

James Clint Brown, 38, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on February 24, 2021, at 8:59 pm on the following charges:

• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of marijuana
• Open container
• Driving under suspension
• Brake lights required

Brown was released on a summons to appear on May 24, 2021.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Alvin Fitch, 34, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on February 24, 2021, at 6:50 pm on a Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office warrant for First Degree Murder.

Fitch was also arrested on a St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of firearm or carrying a concealed weapon by a convicted felon
• Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
• Possession of clonazepam
• Possession of cocaine
• Illegal use/possession/control of weapons-crime of violence/CDS
• Monetary instrument abuse
• Possession of marijuana

Fitch was transferred to another agency.

 

Christopher Martin, 34, Berwick, LA, was arrested on February 24, 2021, at 11:35 pm on a Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office warrant for First Degree Murder.

Martin was also charged with possession of schedule I (heroin), possession of schedule II (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia. Martin is being held for another agency.

 

George Favors, 53, Patterson, LA, was arrested on February 24, 2021, at 3:45 pm on a warrant for the following charges:

• Possession of schedule II with intent to distribute
• Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Resisting arrest or officer
• Illegal use of CDS in the presence of persons under 17

No bail has been set.

 

Latoya Pharr, 33, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on February 24, 2021, at 2:42 pm on a warrant for possession of schedule I (marijuana). Pharr was released on a summons to appear on May 24, 2021.
