Arrest Report- March 9, 2021

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 33 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Slevin Gutierrez-Zelaya, 40, Marrero, LA, was arrested on March 8, 2021, at 5:34 pm for turning movements and signals required, driving while intoxicated-3rd offense, and operating a vehicle while under suspension.  No bail has been set.

 

Jonathan Paul Stovall, 18, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 8, 2021, at 9:36 pm for improper lane usage, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Stovall was released on a summons to appear on June 28, 2021.

 

Dontrell Damone Colbert, 25, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on March 9, 2021, at 12:01 am on a Baldwin Police Department complaint warrant for resisting an officer by flight and illegal tint. Colbert was released on a summons to appear on June 28, 2021.

 

Kacie Elizabeth Smith, 26, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 9, 2021, at 2:21 am on the following charges:

  • Improper display of license plates
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Obstruction of justice-tampering
  • Possession of heroin

Smith also held an active warrant through the Morgan City Police Department for the charges of possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a CDS in a drug-free zone. 

No bail has been set.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Leah Renee Bourgeois, 44, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 9, 2021, at 3:28 am on the following charges:

  • No license plate
  • Possession of fentanyl
  • Possession of schedule IV (Xanax)

Bourgeois also held an active warrant for the charge of possession of drug paraphernia. 

No bail has been set.

 

Chase Bertrand, 35, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 9, 2021, at 3:28 am on the following charges:

  • Possession of schedule I (heroin)
  • Possession of schedule IV (Xanax)

Bertrand also held an active warrant for the following charges:

  • direct contempt (failure to appear)
  • careless operation of a motor vehicle
  • operating a vehicle without a driver's license
  • fail to honor a written promise to appear.

No bail has been set.
