St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 28 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Micah P. Thibodaux, 46, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 24, 2021, at 11:00 am on an Assumption Parish warrant for possession of stolen things. Thibodaux was transferred to another agency.

 

Cabot Preston Pugh, 32, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 24, 2021, at 10:32 am for possession of drug paraphernalia. Pugh was released on a summons to appear in court on June 28th, 2021.

 

Corey Michael Stevens, 35, Berwick, LA, was arrested on March 24, 2021, at 10:36 am for improper lane usage and driving under suspension. Stevens was released on a summons to appear in court on June 28th, 2021.

 

Jase Kolbe Darden, 33, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 25, 2021, at 3:42 am on the following charges:

• Failure to signal turn
• Failure to dim headlights
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of schedule II drug with intent to distribute.
• Battery of a corrections officer (2 counts)

No bail has been set.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Biatrice Sims, 19, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on March 24, 2021, at 4:07 pm for improper lane usage, no driver's license, and possession of schedule I (marijuana). Sims was released on a summons to appear in court on June 28th, 2021.
