St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jase Kolbe Darden, 33, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 25, 2021, at 3:52 pm for battery of a corrections officer (2 counts) and resisting an officer with force or violence (2 counts). No bail has been set.

 

Jovian Jerome Clark, 38, Amelia, LA, was arrested on March 25, 2021, at 10:32 am on a warrant for domestic abuse battery, battery-aggravated second degree, and battery-second degree. Bail was set at $75,000.  

 

Tireke Kunta Kinta Johnson, 22, Thibodaux, LA, was arrested on March 26, 2021, at 3:53 am for possession of a firearm-felon.  No bail has been set.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Joshua Norris, 33, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 25, 2021, at 5:07 pm on the following charges:

• Inward outward view (window tint)
• Flight from an officer
• Resisting an officer
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of schedule II (vyvanse)

Norris was released on a summons to appear on June 28, 2021
