St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 44 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Rondon Charles Caesar, 44, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on April 5, 2021, at 9:46 pm for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and parole violation. Caesar also held a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-second offense, possession of marijuana, operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled, and improper lane usage.  No bail has been set.

 

Cecil Dale Stroud Jr., 45, Alexandria, LA, was arrested on April 5, 2021, at 11:45 pm on the following charges:

• Driving on roadway laned for traffic
• Driving while intoxicated-3rd offense
• Open container
• Resisting an officer by flight
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

No bail has been set.
