St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 51 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Eugene Lyons, 62, Abbeville, LA, was arrested on April 6, 2021, at 7:26 am for driving under suspension. Lyons was released on a summons to appear on July 22, 2021.

 

Raeann Lawrence Johnson, 39, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on April 6, 2021, at 2:20 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft. No bail has been set.

 

Jason A. King, 36, Centerville, LA, was arrested on April 6, 2021, at 10:10 pm for leash law. King was released on a summons to appear on July 22, 2021.

 

Roni Marie Landry, 32, Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 6, 2021, at 5:55 pm on three warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of drug paraphernalia (3 counts)
• Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
• Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
• Possession of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids
• Possession of schedule II CDS

No bail has been set.

 

Christopher Dwayne Woods, 29, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 7, 2021, at 4:19 am on the following charges:

• Driver must be licensed
• Proper equipment required on vehicles
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of marijuana
• Obstruction of justice-tampering
• Assumption Parish warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of schedule I CDS with intent to distribute

No bail has been set.

 

Chris James Boudreaux, 53, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 7, 2021, at 5:19 am for possession of methamphetamines. No bail has been set.
