St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 28 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Candice Lee Ross, 35, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 7, 2021, at 11:00 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with improper taillights and possession of marijuana. No bail has been set.

 

Devante S. Myles, 27, Berwick, LA, was arrested on April 8, 2021, at 12:58 am on the following charges:

• Driving on roadway laned for traffic
• Possession of marijuana
• Second or subsequent offenses
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Myles was released on a summons to appear on July 22, 2021.
