St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jalicia Janee Broussard, 26, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on May 3, 2021, at 3:21 pm on a material witness warrant. Broussard was transferred to another agency.

 

Jason Wesley Johnson, 42, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on May 3, 2021, at 11:49 pm on the following charges:

• Possession of a schedule II drugs
• No head lights
• Obstruction of justice-tampering
• Open container

No bail has been set.

 

Blake Michael Dinger, 28, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 4, 2021, at 3:37 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of methamphetamine. No bail has been set.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Chad Harris, 40, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 3, 2021, at 7:19 am on the following charges:
Possession of schedule I (heroin) with intent to distribute

• Possession of schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Warrant for issuing worthless checks

No bail has been set.

 

Morris J. Charpentier Jr., 43, Larose, LA, was arrested on May 3, 2021, at 7:47 pm on the following charges:

• Reckless operation of a vehicle
• Possession of schedule II with intent to distribute
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of schedule II (oxycodone)
• Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
• Transactions involving drug proceeds
• Resisting an officer

No bail has been set.
