St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jodie Guidry Aucoin, 37, Berwick, LA, was arrested on May 4, 2021, at 5:43 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of drug paraphernalia, and speeding. No bail has been set.

 

Patty Sue Uriegas, 28, Patterson, LA, was arrested on May 4, 2021, at 11:43 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle with improperly lit lamps. No bail has been set.

 

Roshonda Thomas, 50, of Franklin, LA was arrested on May 4, 2021, at 4:08 pm on accessory after the fact-second degree murder.
As the investigation progressed, a warrant was obtained for Thomas. She was arrested and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Thomas was released on an $8,000 bond.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Edward Washington, 60, Berwick, LA, was arrested on May 4, 2021, at 6:50 pm for improper lane use and possession of schedule I (marijuana). Washington was released on a summons to appear on August 19, 2021.
