St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 53 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

David Wayne Boyd, 49, Houston, TX, was arrested on May 11, 2021, at 8:42 am for burglary-simple. Bail was set at $2,500.

 

Chad Gordon Walker, 51, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 11, 2021, at 11:54 am for driving under suspension and view outward and inward of window. Walker was released on a summons to appear on August 25, 2021.

 

Kenneth Carter Jenkins Jr., 43, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 11, 2021, at 12:23 pm for driving under suspension and driving on roadway laned for traffic. Jenkins was released on a summons to appear on August 25, 2021.

 

Ahmaric Smith, 20, Thibodaux, LA, was arrested on May 11, 2021, at 4:07 pm for off-road vehicles: authorization of use and disturbing the peace by language. Smith was released on a summons to appear on August 25, 2021.

 

Nicholas Walter Grimmett, 40, Amelia, LA, was arrested on May 11, 2021, at 3:13 pm for battery-second degree. Grimmett was released on a $5,000 bond.
