St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 48 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Christopher Brown, 46, Baton Rouge, LA, was arrested on May 25, 2021, at 3:10 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled and speeding. Brown was released on a $500 bond.

 

Juvenile male, 16, Patterson, LA, was arrested on May 25, 2021, at 9:57 pm for ungovernable juvenile. The juvenile male was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

David Ross Miller Jr., 29, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on May 25, 2021, at 11:11 pm on the following charges:

• Improper lane usage
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Obstruction of justice-tampering
• Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
• Possession of legend drug without prescription

Bail was set at $10,000.

 

Patrick Archangel, 41, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on May 25, 2021, at 11:22 pm for resisting arrest or officer and resisting an officer by giving false information.
No bail has been set.

 

Mary Jordan, 40, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 26, 2021, at 12:24 am for license plate lights required and driving under suspension. Jordan was released on a summons to appear on August 25, 2021.

Travis Lorenzo Ray, 30, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 26, 2021, at 12:59 am for turning movements and signals required, failure to change address within 10 days, and open container. Ray was released on a summons to appear on August 25, 2021.

 

Rusty Bordelon, 32, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 26, 2021, at 2:30 am for possession of marijuana and improper lane usage. Bordelon was released on a summons to appear on August 25, 2021.

 

Terry Lynn Johnson, 45, Charenton, LA, was arrested on May 26, 2021, at 2:43 am for open container. Johnson was released on a summons to appear on August 25, 2021.

 

Donald William Darby, 44, Patterson, LA, was arrested on May 26, 2021, at 2:43 am for open container. Johnson was released on a summons to appear on August 25, 2021.

 

Shenique A. Jones, 38, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 26, 2021, at 2:43 am for open container. Johnson was released on a summons to appear on August 25, 2021.

 

Derek Anthony Harrell, 34, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 26, 2021, at 4:39 pm on the following charges:

• Improper lane usage
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Obstruction of justice-tampering
• Possession of marijuana
• Driving under suspension
• Possession of methamphetamines

Harrell also held an active warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. No bail has been set.
