St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Timothy Troung, 26, Amelia, LA, was arrested on June 8, 2021, at 11:55 am for domestic abuse child endangerment law. Bail has been set at $3,500.

Nicholas Anthony Gamble, 41, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 8, 2021, at 2:46 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse child endangerment law. No bail has been set.

 

Thaddeus Lancelot Alvis, 28, Killeen, TX, was arrested on June 8, 2021, at 4:04 pm for possession of marijuana. Alvis was released on a summons to appear on September 1, 2021.

 

Kyle Thomas Logan, 43, Woodville, MS, was arrested on June 8, 2021, at 12:31 pm on a warrant for monetary instrument abuse. No bail has been set.

 

Joseph John Verdin Jr., 48, Vidalia, LA, was arrested on June 9, 2021, at 5:51 pm on the following charges:

• False imprisonment
• Battery-simple
• Assault-simple
• Battery on a police officer
• Resisting by force
• Possession of methamphetamines
• Possession of schedule IV drugs

No bail has been set.

 

Brittany Renee Kirt, 32, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 9, 2021, at 12:58 pm for criminal damage to property-simple. Kirt was released on a summons to appear on September 1, 2021.

 

Travis Lorenzo Ray, 30, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on June 9, 2021, at 12:45 am for criminal damage to property-simple. Ray was released on a summons to appear on September 1, 2021.
