St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

James Patrick Freifeld, 41, Berwick, LA, was arrested on July 8, 2021, at 2:58 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace. Bail has not been set.

Miesha Nneka Gray, 26, Thibodaux, LA, was arrested on July 8, 2021, at 9:22 pm for domestic abuse battery. Bail was set at $2,500.
