St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 37 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Gwendolyn Williams, 66, Patterson, LA, was arrested on July 13, 2021, at 7:54 am for improper lane usage and driving under suspension. Williams was released on a summons to appear on October 7, 2021.

 

Scott Christopher Dehart, 40, Berwick, LA, was arrested on July 13, 2021, at 10:04 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of meth with intent to distribute. Dehart was released on a $5,000 bond.

 

Raymon Dontrial Jones, Sr., 32, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on July 13, 2021, at 2:34 pm for battery-aggravated and criminal damage to property. Jones continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

 

Traci Fitch Whitehurst, 39, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 13, 2021, at 2:45 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of resisting a police officer with force or violence, battery of a police officer, and disturbing the peace-offensive words. Bail was set at $15,000.

 

 

Brei Daymon Lynch, 21, Berwick, LA, was arrested on July 13, 2021, at 2:10 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of failure to yield at a stop sign. Lynch was released on personal surety.

 

Frankie Gerard Clark, 37, Amelia, LA, was arrested on July 13, 2021, at 8:34 pm on the following charges:

• Turning movements and signals required
• Brake lights required
• Driver must be licensed
• No insurance

Clark was released on a summons to appear on October 7, 2021.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Matthew Allen, 28, Leesville, LA, was arrested on July 13, 2021, at 7:55 am for improper lane usage and possession of schedule I (marijuana). Allen was released on a summons to appear on October 7, 2021.

 

Sarich Hernandez, 19, Houma, LA, was arrested on July 13, 2021, at 6:09 am for following too close, possession of schedule I (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hernandez was released on a summons to appear on October 7, 2021.

 

Tyron Charles, 20, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on July 13, 2021, at 7:14 pm for improper lane usage, possession of schedule I (marijuana), and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of illegal carrying of a weapon. Charles was released on a $5,250 bond.

Roderick Dominick, Jr., 23, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on July 13, 2021, at 7:14 pm for possession of schedule I (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dominick also held a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• operating a vehicle while license was suspended/revoked/canceled
• possession/distribution/sale of a legend drug without prescription
• speeding
•  improper use of registration/license plate/license
• operation of a vehicle not covered by security

Bail has not been set.
