Arrest Report- July 23, 2021

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Clay Joseph Guillory

Clay Joseph Guillory, 44, Patterson, LA, was arrested on July 22, 2021, at 7:53 pm for indecent behavior with juvenile, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and cruelty to a juvenile/non-violent. Guillory also held a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of schedule II (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bail was set at $260,000.

 

Shelia Marie Ruffin, 64, Gibson, LA, was arrested on July 22, 2021, at 11:55 am on a warrant for failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $500.

 

Jennifer L. Carmody, 35, Patterson, LA, was arrested on July 22, 2021, at 1:27 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled. Carmody was released on a summons to appear on October 7, 2021.

 

Douglas Montecino, Sr., 55, Marrero, LA, was arrested on July 22, 2021, at 11:00 am on a warrant for the charge of domestic abuse battery. Montecino was released on a $2,500 bond.

 

Francis J. Chavez-Funes, 43, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 22, 2021, at 9:00 pm for leash law and vicious animals. Chavez-Funes was released on a summons to appear on October 7, 2021.

 

Shannon Gail Wright, 30, Patterson, LA, was arrested on July 22, 2021, at 11:06 pm for violation of protective orders. No bail has been set.

 

Brian John Klein 39, Patterson, LA, was arrested on July 22, 2021, at 11:06 pm on a warrant for the charge of domestic abuse battery-child endangerment law. Klein also held a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of aggravated assault. Bail was set at $11,000.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION


Kendell Dewayne Colbert, 37, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on July 22, 2021, at 4:45 pm on the following charges:

  • Possession of schedule II (crack cocaine) with intent to distribute
  • Possession of schedule IV (alprazolam) with intent to distribute
  • Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
  • Possession of schedule I (THC oil)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Transactions involving drug proceeds

Colbert was released on a $15,000 bond.
