St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Joseph R. Thomas III, 63, Patterson, LA, was arrested on August 3, 2021, at 4:03 pm for battery-simple and disturbing the peace by fighting. Thomas was released on a summons to appear on November 2, 2021.

April Judd, 22, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 3, 2021, at 9:21 pm for criminal damage to property. Judd was released on a summons to appear on November 2, 2021.
