St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Nicholas Francis, Jr., 18, Berwick, LA, was arrested on August 5, 2021, at 3:28 pm on a warrant for aggravated assault with a firearm. Francis was released on a $7,000 bond.
