St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 32 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Juvenile male, 16, Patterson, LA, was arrested on August 17, 2021, at 4:00 pm for ATV/Off-road vehicles on public roadways prohibited. The juvenile male was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Shanay D. Griffin, 30, Patterson, LA, was arrested on August 18, 2021, at 3:23 am for speeding and driving under suspension. Griffin was released on a summons to appear on November 2, 2021.
