St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 44 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Mai Averianna Francis, 21, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 24, 2021, at 11:00 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and improper lane usage. Francis was released on a summons to appear on November 2, 2021.

 

Joshua K. Johnson, 34, Youngsville, LA, was arrested on August 24, 2021, at 7:28 pm for no insurance and driving under suspension. Johnson was released on a summons to appear on November 2, 2021.

 

Jerry John Landerman, 53, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on August 24, 2021, at 10:32 pm for improper lane usage, no driver's license, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Landerman was released on a summons to appear on November 2, 2021.

 

Gene Joseph Stratton, Jr., 33, Centerville, LA, was arrested on August 24, 2021, at 11:51 pm for domestic abuse battery. Stratton was released on a $2,500 bond.

 

Braden Loustalot, 18, Centerville, LA, was arrested on August 24, 2021, at 11:51 pm for domestic abuse battery. Loustalot was released on a $2,500 bond.
