St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Willie Joseph Johnlouis Jr., 34, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on September 13, 2021, at 11:04 am on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled (2 counts)
• modification of exhaust system
• possession/distribution/sale of legend drug without prescription
• possession of marijuana
• improper lane usage

Johnlouis was released on bond.

 

Brian Keith Fontenot, 43, Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 13, 2021, at 6:59 pm for turning movements and required signals, improper lane usage, and possession of marijuana. Fontenot was released on a summons to appear on December 1, 2021.

 

Donald Ray Webber, 34, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on September 13, 2021, at 10:37 pm for reckless operation-no accident, possession of marijuana and driving under suspension. Webber was released on a summons to appear on December 1, 2021.

 

Scott David Lyons, 55, Chauvin, LA, was arrested on September 14, 2021, at 12:39 am on the following charges:

• obedience to police officers, weights and standards
• possession of marijuana
• possession of THC wax
• possession of methamphetamines
• possession of drug paraphernalia
• second or subsequent offenses

Bail has not been set.
