St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 35 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Tris Evans Madison, 28, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on October 8, 2021, at 4:22 am for simple assault and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft of $25,000 or more. No bail has been set.
