St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 94 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Denise Colbert Bourda, 54, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on November 12, 2021, at 10:42 am for identity theft (2 counts). No bail has been set.

 

Amber Lee O'Connor, 41, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 12, 2021, at 10:28 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of a CDS (methamphetamines), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. O'Connor was released on a $12,000 bond.

 

Newton Joseph Gaudet, 73, Amelia, LA, was arrested on November 12, 2021, at 4:22 pm for cruelty to animals. Gaudet was released on a summons to appear on February 3, 2022.

 

Kendell James Williams, 38, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 13, 2021, at 7:52 pm for disturbing the peace-intoxicated. Williams was released on a $1,000 bond.

 

Cassy Bursey, 38, Wagener, SC, was arrested on November 12, 2021, at 10:24 pm for driving under suspension and failure to dim headlights. Bursey was released on a summons to appear on February 3, 2022.

 

Jose Luis Flores, 61, Amelia, LA, was arrested on November 13, 2021, at 4:39 am for domestic abuse child endangerment law. Flores also held a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. No bail has been set.

 

James Brumfield, 59, Houma, LA, was arrested on November 14, 2021, at 2:40 am for reckless operation-no accident and driving under suspension. Brumfield was released on a summons to appear on February 3, 2022.

 

Drew Ryan Baugher, 32, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 14, 2021, at 9:30 am for driving under suspension. Baugher was released on a summons to appear on February 3, 2022.

 

Terri Helman, 40, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on November 15, 2021, at 11:08 pm for switched license plate/stolen license plate and no insurance. Helman was released on a summons to appear on February 3, 2022.

 

Kayla Jackson, 29, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on November 14, 2021, at 11:46 pm for driving under suspension. Jackson was released on a summons to appear on February 3, 2022.
