St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 31 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Blake Jacoby Smith, 30, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 15, 2021, at 4:23 pm on three warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• resisting an officer
• possession of marijuana
• flight from an officer
• failure to give a required signal

No bail has been set.

 

Corey J. Hilliard, 34, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 15, 2021, at 9:37 am on a warrant for the charges of criminal trespass and simple battery. Hilliard was released on a $3,000 bond.

 

Yashira Marie Birrielcruz, 35, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 15, 2021, at 6:42 pm for driving on roadway laned for traffic and driving while intoxicated. Birrielcruz was released on a $2,750 bond.

 

Quentin Jamar'r Cooper, 31, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 15, 2021, at 11:11 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• speeding
• following too close
• operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled
• no seat belt

Bail has not been set.

 

Cecilia Bonilla, 32, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 16, 2021, at 1:12 am on the following charges:

• brake lights required
• no insurance
• driver must be licensed
• switched license plate/stolen license plate
• failure/owner secure registration

Bonilla was released on a summons to appear on February 3, 2022.
