Arrest Report- January 11, 2022
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Darvin O. Perdo-Mochavez, 19, Metarie, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2022, at 12:55 pm on a warrant for carnal knowledge of a juvenile and rape-1st degree.
On January 10, 2022, a deputy was dispatched to the MCPD in reference to a traffic stop that had been made by the MCPD.
Upon arrival, the deputy learned that MCPD officers had conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and made contact with the driver, Perdo-Mochavez, and a thirteen-year-old juvenile female.
Through the investigation, officers learned that Perdo-Mochavez had inappropriate contact with the juvenile female in the jurisdiction of the SMPSO.
SMPSO detectives began an investigation which led to the charges of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and 1st-degree rape.
Perdo-Mochavez is currently being held at the MCPD and the SMPSO has a hold placed on him. It is expected that he will be transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center later today for booking.
Hubert Terrell Lovett, 58, Patterson, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2022, at 7:42 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Hit and run driving
- Careless operation of a motor vehicle
- Operating a vehicle without proof of insurance
- Operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled
Bail has not been set.
Debra Lynn Budd, 59, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2022, at 10:11 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. Bail has not been set.
Samantha Marie Corbin, 29, Houma, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2022, at 6:22 am on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Possession of CDS in the presence of a juvenile
- Improper turn signal
- Driving under suspension
Bail has been set at $6,000.
Nicole Fisher, 50, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2022, at 1:10 pm on three warrants for the following charges:
- Possession of schedule II (methamphetamine)
- Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
- Possession of a legend drug without prescription
- Theft less than $1,000
Bail has not been set.
