St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Charles Lionel Nerve, 39, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on January 11, 2022, at 7:52 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled and speeding. Bail was set at $1,000.

Eddie Lee Brown IV, 48, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 11, 2022, at 10:30 am for failure to register as a sex offender. Brown was released on a $15,000.

Marvin Anthony Gabriel, 30, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on January 11, 2022, at 12:23 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $36,826.04.
