St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Juvenile Male, 13, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 7, 2022, at 5:26 pm for theft. The Juvenile Male was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Juvenile Male, 11, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 7, 2022, at 5:26 pm for theft. The Juvenile Male was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Kade Michael Soprano, 39, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 7, 2022, at 11:34 pm for driving under suspension. Soprano was released on a summons to appear on June 15, 2022.

 

Curtis Joseph Martin, 40, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 7, 2022, at 11:58 pm on the following charges:

• General speed law
• Driving while intoxicated
• Open container
• Driver must be licensed

Bail was set at $3,500.

 

Alton Paul Granger, 37, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 8, 2022, at 2:44 am for driving on roadway laned for traffic, possession of schedule II drug with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set.

 

Jade Amber Smith, 22, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 8, 2022, at 2:44 am for possession of schedule II drug with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set.

Joshua Donnel Robertson, 30, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 7, 2022, at 4:45 pm on the following charges:

• Improper lane usage
• Possession of schedule I (heroin)
• Obstruction of justice-tampering
• Operating vehicle while license is suspended
