St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 25 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Amiee Lynn Chapman, 37, Centerville, LA, was arrested on March 23, 2022, at 9:26 am on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family and battery-simple. Bail was set at $6,464.

 

Julia McIntyre Bailey, 61, Amelia, LA, was arrested on March 23, 2022, at 12:41 pm on four warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• No drivers license on person
• Possession of a schedule III CDS
• Possession/distribution of a legend drug without prescription

Bail has not been set.

 

Payton Ann Nicole Bailey, 26, Amelia, LA, was arrested on March 23, 2022, at 2:19 pm for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bailey was released on a summons to appear on June 24, 2022.

 

Juvenile Male, 15, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 23, 2022, at 1:54 pm for possession of schedule II drugs and possession of schedule IV drugs. The juvenile male was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
