St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 27 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tippy Edward Lovell III, 22, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 27, 2022, at 4:38 pm for reckless operation-no accident. Lovell was released on a summons to appear on June 24, 2022.

 

Louis Alton Bourque, 36, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 28, 2022, at 2:31 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $31,379.

 

Kevin Lashawn James Sr., 36, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 29, 2022, at 12:19 am for driver must be licensed and no insurance. James was released on a summons to appear on June 24, 2022.

 

Cierra Hines Davis, 32, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 29, 2022, at 1:20 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of careless operation of a motor vehicle, following too close, and failing to honor written promise to appear. Davis was released on a $375 bond.

 

Ismael Grado, 49, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 29, 2022, at 4:16 am for reckless operation-no accident and driving under suspension. Bail was set at $2005.50.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Ryan J. Kemp, 38, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 28, 2022, at 8:08 am on the following charges:

• Possession of Schedule I (MDMA)
• Possession of schedule II (crack cocaine) with intent to distribute
• Transactions involving drug proceeds
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail has not been set.

 

Latoya N. Mitchell, 46, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 28, 2022, at 8:08 am for possession of schedule I (marijuana). Mitchell was released on a summons to appear on June 24, 2022.
