St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 29 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Destiny Raye Kelley, 44, Baton Rouge, LA, was arrested on April 12, 2022, at 11:38 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of methamphetamines
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled
• Improper lane usage

Bail was set at $3,600.

 

Mary Marie Chatman, 36, Houma, LA, was arrested on April 12, 2022, at 11:38 am on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule II with intent to distribute (methamphetamine)
• Possession of schedule I with intent to distribute (heroin)
• Possession of schedule II with intent to distribute (fentanyl)
• Possession of schedule II with intent to distribute (cocaine)

Bail was set at $15,100.

Gregory Joseph Payne, 18, Patterson, LA, was arrested on April 12, 2022, at 12:55 pm for theft of a motor vehicle and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bail was set at $25,000.
