St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 33 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Joseph Edward Ramagos III, 36, Patterson, LA, was arrested on April 13, 2022, at 4:54 pm on an Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office warrant for burglary-simple. Ramagos is being held for another agency.

 

Bobby Roy Lockett, 59, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on April 13, 2022, at 8:16 pm for driving under suspension and turning movements/required signals. Lockett was released on a summons to appear on July 19, 2022.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Ryan J. Kemp, 38, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 13, 2022, at 3:17 pm on the following charges:

• Improper lane usage
• Possession of schedule I with intent to distribute (MDMA)
• Possession of schedule II with intent to distribute (crack cocaine)
• Possession of schedule II with intent to distribute (methamphetamine)
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Transactions involving drug proceeds
• Possession of a CDS in the presence of a minor
• Possession of schedule II (cocaine)

Bail was set at $125,000.
