St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 35 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Chadwick Michael Landry, 49, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 20, 2022, at 1:37 am for license plate lights required and driving under suspension. Landry was released on a summons to appear on July 19, 2022.

Carmel James Triggs Jr., 40, Patterson, LA, was arrested on April 19, 2022, at 12:40 pm for duty of offender to notify law enforcement of change of address and failure to pay annual registration fee. Triggs also held a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $4,430.
